In designing the present work, it was the purpose of the writer to include in connected form, and in chronological order, all the original documents relating to the Incorporation, along with such excerpts from the existing Minute-Books and others, as would bring to light and illustrate the past history of what was formerly known as the Incorporation of Surgeons and Barbers.
