I, accordingly, went to the expense of having searches made in the Record Office, with the result that there was found a complete list of the entire householders of the county of Tipperary so near the Cromwellian epoch as six years after the restoration of Charles the Second. I am sorry to state that such list only exists for the years 1666 and 1667. Slight variations in spelling occur from the existing types, as well as from those, which I know, aliunde, to have existed then.
